Otto's Tennis game is a free sports game from Otto Ojala that lets you play exhilarating rounds of tennis either with a computer or with friends using the same device. The rules are simple: click on the corresponding button for your side to help your character jump upwards and keep the tennis balls from passing you.

Compared to games like Virtua Tennis Challenge, Otto's Tennis game is much simpler and more straightforward. Although the movements don’t exactly mimic the feel of a real-life tennis match, it’s still sure to provide an entertaining experience you can enjoy with your friends.

As already mentioned, Otto's Tennis game isn’t as lifelike as your other tennis games. Rather, it makes use of cartoonish visuals and wacky physics that make it appealing to a variety of players, regardless of their age. Players can choose to play alone or against a friend or family member in multiplayer mode. The single-player mode has two difficulty options to choose from as well: casual and robotic.

In addition to the previous player modes, there are also five settings you can play in: tennis, ping-pong, arcade, karate, and random. The controls are also easy enough for new players to learn. Players will have to race to reach 50 points first in order to win the game. However, you can also run into a deuce situation, wherein you’ll need to score two consecutive points to beat your opponent. 

By winning games, you can also fill up the arena with your fans wearing your character’s colors, as well. Consequently, when your opponent wins, the arena will begin to flood with their own supporters. One notable downside to the game, though, is the lack of additional locations and achievements. This makes the game feel repetitive over time, even with the presence of multiple game modes.

Could use more content

Although Otto's Tennis game does fall short of expectations when it comes to the availability of game locations and achievements that you could aim to complete, it still offers a great amount of fun that can challenge you, especially when playing in robotic difficulty. The simplicity of its mechanics and the adorable pixel graphics make it an even more appealing game, as well.
